A hierarchical framework for organizing society creates so much isolation, not only from each other in the sense that we see each other as competition but also isolation from the wisdom of nature, our own wisdom. We can learn so much about ourselves simply by observing our environment - observing the seasons, the natural cycles of death and rebirth; observing the beauty, uniqueness and diversity. We are connected to everything. Everything is connected to us. The trees are our home. The flowers are our family. We belong here.”
